Rodent Management:
The treatment is for the management of rodents i.e. Rats, Mice,
Bandicoots at your locations. The treatment is based on the use of sticky trap flexi, Bromodiolone 0.25% bait outside.
Mode of Treatment:
Rodent bait will not used inside any building or facility. Rodent bite cake/granule will be used only on the exteriors of buildings and that too in GIS Pest Management Services Roda box units.
For indoor control of rats and mice, sticky trap flexi will be used. Advantages of using Sticky trap flexi boards are that they are simple to use as no food or poison baits are used and the catch can be disposed off without the dead mouse or rat causing odor /contamination problem from inaccessible production areas. Glue traps provide quick results. Immediate disposal of dead rodents is possible by avoiding any potential odor problem, which could have caused by dead rodents in inaccessible areas.
The placement of the glue boards will inside Roda-Box along the wall areas. Close To doors and other open into an area from where rats and mice are likely to enter inside the building. Spacing of these devices is to be determined on practical feasibility, upon inspection.
Roda box will be grouted or nailed into the concrete strip on the exterior of the building or fixed by other means to prevent the bait stations from being disturbed or removed from its fixed location depends upon type of premises. All internal and external Roda-Box will be serially numbered and show on the Roda-Box floor plan. An inspection log sheet/card should be maintained. Wherever, Roda-box has been installed, a long of individual trap will be maintained.
Preventive Measures
These will be suggested/ evaluated during quarterly Audit Inspection. Effective control of rodents requires implementing preventive/rodent proofing measures with the use of various control techniques such as good sanitation, Daily pick-up of garbage; good storage practices/proper storage procedures both indoors and outdoors, reduced outdoor harborages, weeds, old equipments/scrap, rodent proofing etc.
